From Kelli: I just saw a new T.V. ad for Ford Focus that used IDWB (audio and video footage - cool video showing all over the red car) and had the little song title and artist name tag down in the left hand corner. It's actually a pretty cool commercial... as commercials for cars go and thought it was great exposure for Gavin. I saw it on FOX at about 8pm (Central) on Monday night.

From Dana: Gavin DeGraw is featured on VH1's Top 40 of 2004 (top 40 videos). I couldn't watch it this morning, but my brother said he was somewhere in the 30's. The show will be coming on again Dec. 24 at 11pm, Dec. 25 at 4am, and Jan. 2 at 4am.

Last week was Gavin's highest scanning week ever for "Chariot", with over 22,000 albums sold for the week. "Chariot" is now over 526,000 scanned to date.

Gavin will be releasing a fully acoustic version of Chariot at the end of the summer! The album will be called Chariot Stripped and will be all of the original tracks, plus one hidden track, all performed acoustically. Here's what Gavin has to say about the album:
"I wanted to strip down the existing album. I wanted to make a Neil Young meets Norah Jones 67/68 style recording. It will give people another perspective of what I am about musically. We recorded it in NYC because that's where I feel most comfortable. Each player on this recording was someone that I've played acoustic gigs with. I knew that each player could read me. We played these recordings all together at the same time in the same room. The existing album was a taste of me in LA and the stripped version was me in NYC. My Jekyll & Hyde."
